  • Private sector being encouraged to start second shift in the existing Government ITI's thereby increasing capacity
  • At present, there are 898 degree colleges being run in the State. Rajasthan has one college on population of 63,000 against the national average of 77,000
  • Ordinances for setting up of 4 private universities have been issued. Proposals for another 21 private universities are under consideration.
